Mr Ron Logan
Company Chairman
Despite a career in banking, I have had a 30 plus years passion for flying, having originally learned in Scotland. My wife and I stumbled across the Fleurieu Peninsula by accident and determined to retire to the area and base our aircraft at Aldinga. I was originally invited on to the Board in August 2011 which has been both challenging, demanding and rewarding. We continue to support the airfield through the flying syndicate we have founded and also have a share in the Aldinga Aero business to ensure we retain aircraft maintenance at Aldinga.
Mr Bob Davis
Director
I have always been interested in aviation and was finally able to afford the time and cost to train as a pilot – at Aldinga – in the late 1990’s. We first bought a Cherokee 6 and discovered how useful it was for our growing national company. This upgraded to a C310 and then finally to our Aerostar – which – for its cost – is the perfect business mans plane.
YADG is a wonderful airfield and it has been an honour and a pleasure to serve on our board of directors over the past years.

Extensive experience in airport and airways systems operations and management gained working at all major Australian airports in numerous roles for 38 years. As a Senior Manager for Airservices Australia, I gained experience in air safety compliance specifically to meet the requirements of CASA MOS 171 and aspects of MOS 139. Masters level studies in Business Management provides me the foundations to effectively run a company and this, combined with expertise as a Mechanical Technical Officer, provides the vital skills to address many company and airport related issues. I hold a passion for finance and investment as a qualified Financial Advisor supplemented by Managerial Accounting studies at Adelaide University. This enables me to undertake Cost Benefit Analysis, a pivotal requirement for any successful business. I share my late father’s passion for Sport Aviation in enjoying my own Piel Super Emeraude ADK and on a nice day flying my Druine Turbulent 1201. Recently retired from the workforce, I’m playing a part, amongst a diverse team of Directors, in continuing to develop Aldinga Airport where people come to enjoy safe flying and friendly interactions.
